SUMMARY:TEE/TTE Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The TEE/TTE Workshop is designed to introduce the participants to PoCUS studies that can be used as part of patient assessment in everyday clinical practice. Participants must complete the TEE/TTE online modules prior to attending the workshop. During the workshop\, participants will learn to perform the studies on live models and high-fidelity simulators. Participants will complete a competency-based evaluation with course instructors to demonstrate proficiency. \nADDITIONAL DETAILS & REGISTRATION» \nFor more information\, contact workshops@mtsa.edu.

SUMMARY:Essentials of Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Cadaveric Workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Essentials of Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia (USGRA) Cadaveric Workshop is designed to enhance participants’ understanding and skill set in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks commonly used for perioperative pain management. Simulated experiences with cadaveric specimens provide practical applications of the knowledge acquired through online course materials. Guided by anatomists\, participants engage in cadaveric dissections\, practice needling techniques on whole-body cadavers\, refine their scanning techniques through live model scanning\, and collaborate with regional anesthesia experts in a 1:4 faculty-to-attendee ratio. \nADDITIONAL DETAILS & REGISTRATION» \nFor more information\, contact workshops@mtsa.edu.

SUMMARY:Webinar Series: Unlocking the Sympathetic Chain — Understanding Stellate Ganglion Blocks + Live Demo
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW»\nThis webinar provides a practical\, clinically focused overview of stellate ganglion blocks\, including essential anatomy\, common indications\, and important safety considerations. Participants will learn how to identify key sonographic landmarks and understand the step-by-step workflow for performing an ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block. The session concludes with a live demonstration to reinforce technique\, transducer positioning\, and local anesthetic dosing strategies. \nObjectives: \n\nReview the key anatomy\, clinical indications\, and potential complications associated with stellate ganglion blocks.\nPerform an ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block\, highlighting key landmarks\, transducer positioning\, procedural steps\, and common local anesthetic dosing strategies.\n\nPresenters \n \nChristian R. Falyar\, DNAP\, CRNA\, FAANA\nDirector\, Ultrasound and Pain Management\, MTSA \n \nNicolette Hooge\, DNP\, MBA\, CRNA\, FAANA\nDirector of Clinical Education\, Ultrasound and Pain Management\, MTSA \n \nDavid Gaskin\, MHS\, CRNA\, NSPM-C\nOwner\, Maverick Medical Education \nREGISTER NOW»
