The PoCUS Workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding and practical skills in essential point-of-care ultrasound studies for the assessment and development of a perioperative anesthetic plan. The immersive hybrid course includes eight hours of didactic lectures paired with four hours of hands-on instruction. Participants will gain practical experience through live-model scanning sessions covering:

• Ultrasound assessment of gastric contents
• Peripheral vascular access
• Proper endotracheal tube placement
• Location of the cricothyroid membrane
• Lung ultrasound
• Ultrasound assessment of intracranial pressure
• Hemodynamic status evaluation
