Hallie Evans, DNP, CRNA

Hallie Evans, DNP, CRNA has over twelve years of experience working as a CRNA in a variety of clinical settings and practices. She has served as a clinical preceptor and mentor for graduate projects during this time. In 2015, she returned to school to earned her Post-Masters’ Doctorate of Nursing Practice. After earning this degree, she joined the faculty at Florida International University as an Assistant Clinical Professor, until accepting her position at MTSA. As a faculty member for the Nurse Anesthesia program at Florida International University, she taught a variety or courses in the didactic component of the Nurse Anesthesia program, including Technology in Anesthesia and Principles of Anesthesia I, II, III and simulation. In addition to teaching simulation for the Nurse Anesthesia Department, she served as the coordinator of simulation. She also taught Doctoral level nursing courses including Nursing Theory and Culture. In addition, she has taught the Scholarly Project progression of courses serving as a chair and supervisor of the Doctoral Scholarly Projects. Throughout her academic career she has still maintained a strong clinical practice. Her interests include creation of Evidence Based Practice Guidelines and Nursing Education.
